I am a clinical social worker and writer providing therapy for individuals and couples, as well as consultation services for other clinicians and creatives about their work. My therapeutic work centers a relational psychodynamic frame, which I view as just a fancy term for focusing on relationships as the site of change. I also incorporate body-based modalities and behavioral tools as called for.
I identify as a queer non-binary Bangladeshi American provider and specialize in interpersonal and generational trauma healing. I work from an anti-oppression lens and see individual work in the context of concentric circles--the work we do to heal your interpersonal relationship in turn helps heal our communities, which in turn can build towards systemic change.
I take Premera (which also covers Lifewise and most BCBS plans) and FirstChoice (which covers Kaiser), and can accept Kaiser HMO with a pre-authorization.
