Samantha Holsather (she/her)

My approach to counseling is person-centered, collaborative and strength-based. Using a trauma-informed approach and working from a social justice lens, I provide non-judgmental, affirming counseling to support you on your journey towards thriving.

The work I am passionate about is supporting healing for trauma, helping people manage bipolar, and body liberation. I combine EMDR with parts work and somatic techniques for trauma. For bipolar I pull from many approaches, including Interpersonal Social Rhythm therapy. 

On a personal note, I identify as queer, white, cis-gendered woman, fat, able-bodied, and a parent. I live my life driven by the values of authenticity, interconnectedness and joy. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new parks and beaches with my kiddo, going to brunch, going for a walk while listening to podcasts, and singing.
